Every iPhone 4s has an unique Identifying keys which lets it connect to the Apple Servers and get responses. So the hackers could’t really get the Identifier Keys and thus started running their own Proxy servers. And this is where the problem lies. A proxy server is a server that acts as an intermediary for clients seeking resources from other servers. A proxy server may occasionally alter the client’s request and the server respone and at times serve the request without contacting the specified server. In the latter case it ‘caches’ the response.
So this basically means that whenever a user is trying to access the proxy server, he/she is unknowingly giving out their critical credentials to the hacker. All your Mails, Contacts, Messages, Locations and any other personal data maybe exploited by the hacker who has access to the proxy server.
